"Breaking Even" Duo

I choreographed this duo contemporary dance with my friend Susanna. The narrative is inspired by the characters Dani and Carmen in "We Set the Dark on Fire" by Tehlor Kay Mejia. They love each other but cannot be together due to the dystopian society. We illustrate that nuanced dynamic through this dance. (I am in blue top).
